The winners of the Joey Ridgle Septic and Sanitation Big Bass Award were Pam Martin-
Wells in the Pro Division and Lynette Doyle of Oakdale, Louisiana in the Co-angler
division. The Vickie’s Threadworks Tiny Bass winners were Cheryl Bowden and Beth Mills.
With the Wildcard being the final event of the regular season, it is also the last
opportunity for anglers to earn points in the Angler of the Year race and to qualify
for the Lady Bass Classic. The Angler of the Year in the Pro Division is Teri Cindric
of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. The Angler of the Year in the Co-Angler Division is Lynette
Doyle of Oakdale, Louisiana. Lynette’s strong finish hurled her past Secret York to wit
the title. The Rookie of the Year for 2023 is Marcella McCuiston of Dawson Springs,
Kentucky. The top twelve anglers in the AOY race qualify for the Classic along with
the winners of each 2023 event and the 2022 Lady Bass Classic Champions. Other Classic
spots were earned by being the top finishers in the Wildcard not qualifyied by other
means. Additionally, one pair of anglers from each of the four Federations. This
combination will have 19 pros and 19 cos partcipating in the Lady Bass Classic the first
weekend in October on beautiful Bull Shoals Lake out of Peel, Arkansas. The sponsors
for the Lady Bass Classic are the Anchor Pointe Resort, the Hwy 125 Marina and The
Copper Fish Resort.

The LBAA turns it’s attention next to Lake Bull Shoals, AR. The anglers participating
in the October event vying for the Lady Bass Classic Champion Titles for 2023. With the
quality of anglers in this event, folks in the area are definitely in for a treat as
these top anglers step onto the stage!
We invite everyone to come meet the ladies and be part of our event. Take-off will be
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings at safe light from the Anchor Pointe Resort
boat ramp located in Peel, Arkansas. Anglers will come in each day at 3:00 PM with the
weigh-in to start at approximately 3:30 PM near the ramp. Anchor Pointe Resort boat
ramp is located off Hwy 125 in Peel, Arkansas. While there for the event join in on
the final day free raffle for ten lucky spectators will win a complimentary Livingston
