DON GOODFELLOW The best support for sure! He was always there for me and when needed, he helped the other
lady anglers too. We will both miss our friends of LBAA and hope that our paths will cross in the future.

Biggest Bass I ever caught, was on the second day of the LBAA
Classic in 2017, on Lake Palestine, in Texas. What an expe-
rience. Hooked a big one and prayed that it wasn’t a catfish.
As soon as she got near enough to the boat and I realized she
was huge, I stayed focused. As soon as the fish was in the net
and then safely in the live well, the excitement escaped from
both me and my co-angler, Vannetta Groeteke. I am sure that
the homeowners along the bank, behind the dock the fish was
caught off of, were concerned about all the screaming. I might
have hooked that big bass, but Vannetta was excellent on net-
ting the fish and gets credit too. That “big eyed bass” weighed
in at 9.85 lbs and is the current Big Bass on record for the Lady
     Bass Anglers.

What’s next? We lead a very active life. I am looking forward to enjoying my family. The grandchildren are growing
up fast. We share our passion for fishing and boating with them and are teaching them some skills that we hope they’ll
enjoy in the future. Another passion I started participating in is shooting sports, especially the Glock Sport Shooting
Foundation (GSSF) matches. Within the last year, I have achieved “Master Level” in GSSF.

“Life’s an Adventure.” Step up your game and just jump in.
