Colouring die cuts

Colouring die cuts
Choice of colouring mediums can drastically change the effect and mood of your chosen die cuts.
Take your favourite ink pads and add colour and dimension to your project. Simply use your dusting brush or blending tool and carefully apply the ink to the part of the die cut you chose. White ink on blue cardstock is ideal for cloudy sky scenes, and light brown or tan inks makes white cardstock look worn and antiquated.
To create a rusted effect, apply acrylic paint to black or mirrored cardstock, depending on the effect you require. Orange, green or blue paint are all good for creating vintage looks. We have used a black card with orange paint. Simply dab the paint in the areas you want to look rusty and sprinkle cinnamon (yes really!) directly onto the wet paint. Tip off the excess and allow to dry.
