JULY
Student Council went on their annual retreat to the dairy farm and planned their
activities for the year.
AUGUST
Quest held Orientation for 389 students and their families, and for 54 Faculty at
the new building.
Quest established a dual credit partnership with the University of Arizona so a
class in ethics, philosophy, and economics could be offered to count as both high
school and university credit. This credit is transferrable to all but 11 educational
institutions across the United States and is offered at about 1/5 of the cost of
normal university tuition.
SEPTEMBER
Quest held its annual Back to School Night which included booths to meet all the
teachers, booths to find out about clubs and activities, bounce houses, telescopes
and much more. Dinner was provided by the hospitality team. Back to school
night was paired with our first Chapel session. The chapel was run by student
council and included worship elements from a variety of Christian backgrounds
and denominations.
Quest started the Student of the Month Program. Since that time, 8 outstanding
students have been honored for their contributions to making Quest a better place
while still maintaining academic excellence.
