HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE
The Wand-Paper-Scissors study guide is divided into ve lessons Each lesson focuses on a di erent literary element with pertinent questions and Bible Bu s that will guide the student deeper into Sleepy Hollow and help them arrive at their own conclusions, opinions and ideas as well as discover biblical support and direction Drawing insights from what the Bible says about the questions reveals kid-impacting truth This is a literary study guide The daily discussions of the novel pertain to an important literary element The Getting Started section at the beginning of each lesson will de ne and explain the literary element for that day
There are recommended readings for each day that illuminate in some way the day’s literary topic These are only recommendations The teacher/leader can certainly choose other selections

Included in your guide is a packet of large, full-color illustrator cards Feel free
to use these cards in whatever creative fashion you want It is our suggestion to show them during the day’s reading selection These illustrations will help
enforce the reading and make it even more memorable
