it. The caddie responded: “If the ball was
wrapped in bacon even Lassie couldn’t
find it!”
On the flip side, I had the opportunity to
play with Doc in a club tournament. After
overhitting a putt, knowing how well he
could read the greens, I asked if he had
any hints or advise to please let me know.
He responded, “Don’t hit the ball so hard!”
I guess I asked for it.
Happy 90th birthday Doc, keep shooting
your age, and thanks for giving us all the
hope of shooting our age!
