vines. Marca will offer the homeowners a chance to have their
grapes processed, giving them a personal, one-of-a-kind wine.
While one barrel produces 25 cases of wine, other homeowners
in Stage Pass will be able to plant their own vines and potentially
process them as well.
“In the future, we hope to build winemaking facilities, complete with
tasting rooms and associated structures to provide viticulture incuba-
tor facilities for winemakers,” Gambee says.
DANCIN Vineyards will be the next-door neighbor to Stage Pass,
offering the homeowners stunning views of Southern Oregon wine
country. Winner of Oregon Winery of the Year in 2017 and a winner of
several high honor medals, the winery is one of the many wineries who
have taken advantage of Southern Oregon’s ideal wine growing region.
The heavily forested area has been especially favorable for the winery’s
pinot noir and chardonnay grapes.
Marca is also interested in creating unique wine for each homeowner.
“Specifically,” he says, “the willingness by the ownership to create a
world class project on this site. Their steadfast commitment and atten-
tion to detail aligned with our approach to farming, winemaking,
and hospitality.” The homeowner’s interest will only enhance what
DANCIN is offering, especially educating the homeowner in the art of
growing vines and processing.
“From pruning to bud-break to harvest, each season has its own unique
characteristics and circumstances. Through the winemaking process,
we can capture each facet of the growing season in the bottle of wine
that Stage Pass residents can enjoy at home as they reminisce about the
season that was—vintage after vintage,” Marca says. “We are pleased to
be able to expand our estate vineyard onto these distinct sites, which
are perfect for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. And we look forward to
welcoming the new homeowners at the tasting room at DANCIN.”
From pristine views, relaxing walking trails, and homegrown wine,
Stage Pass is just waiting for a community. “The Vineyards at Stage Pass
will be for people who love the experience of a wine country lifestyle,
but without the work it requires,” Gambee expresses. “People who
choose to call the Vineyards at Stage Pass home can expect high caliber
vineyards, like-minded neighbors, and breathtaking vineyard views.”
Those intrigued about this stunning property should contact the Doug
Morse Group for more information. The first lots are ready for pur-
chase and waiting for their dream homes to be built.
