STEVE BOYARSKY is a retired educator who has called Southern ALL YEAR LONG
Oregon his home for more than 40 years. Steve was a high school
biology teacher in Medford schools and a superintendent at
Southern Oregon Education Service District. He has worked for
Southern Oregon University as director of ACADEMY and College-
High programs and taught in the Education Administration program.
Building the Southern Oregon community is a focus for Steve. He
serves on several non-profit boards and writes a monthly column for
the Mail Tribune. Since retirement he has developed a passion for fly
fishing and playing drums in the rock band, Double Life.

EZRA MARCOS is an event and commercial photographer based

NISHA JACKSON is a nationally recognized hormone expert and

JERRY CLARKSON is a freelance photographer living in Southern
Oregon. He spent most of his early career doing weddings and
portraits and now focuses on sports and commercial photography. His
sports images capture the raw emotion during the heat of an intense,
competitive game and he enjoys the challenge, teamwork and creativity

LYNN LEISSLER is a freelance writer living in Southern Oregon,
where she enjoys the cultural and scenic variety of the area. She
writes for various publications, and enjoys quilting, reading,
gardening and traveling. She is currently working on her first novel,
while her cat, Kris Kringle, looks on from his windowsill perch.
CHRIS DENNETT moved to the Rogue Valley at the age of nine in
1983, when his family opened the McCully House in Jacksonville as
a bed and breakfast. He has been in the food industry since 1993,
including working in hospitality in both Scotland and Australia, in
1994 and 1997-98 respectively. Dennett opened Elements in 2006,
followed by Beerworks Medford in 2011 and Beerworks Jacksonville
in 2016. He is a co-founder and organizer for Medford Beer Week
and the Southern Oregon Craft Brew Festival.
