NISHA SADEKAR
the older sister of Seema Sadekar, started
Play Golf Designs in 2006 as a way of creating
awareness around women’s golf. Her unique
business-golf concepts and pop-culture reach
are the company’s core, allowing PGD to grow
into a golf marketing, events, and fashion
enterprise over the last nine years. A former
LPGA Futures and Canadian Tour Professional, Nisha played
for the University of Missouri on a full golf scholarship, where
as captain of the women’s golf team she arranged charitable
events, designed team uniforms, and represented the team
on the Student Athletic Advisory Council. To date, Nisha
has collaborated with several Fortune 500 companies in
structuring golf events and entertainment. PGD is the lead
production team and founders of the Coach Woodson Las
Vegas Invitational and the Julius Erving Golf Classic—both
events include signature experiences for women. Play Golf
Designs passionately continues to expand the game’s reach
and connective path towards growth.
BILL BOWMAN
has spent more than 35 years in the sports
writing business, including the last 12 as
a golf writer based in Las Vegas. He’s the
former editor of VegasGolfer Magazine and
has played all around Las Vegas valley
golf courses with the likes of comedian
Bill Engvall, Burn Notice TV star Jeffrey
Donovan, ESPN’s Colin Cowherd, NASCAR driver and Las
L a s V ega s
Paiute Vegas native Kurt Busch, Collective Soul lead singer Ed
Roland and many others. He and his wife, Cindy, have called
Advantage Club Card Las Vegas home since 1994.
BRIAN HURLBURT
is a lifelong Las Vegan who has chronicled
the Las Vegas golf scene since 1993 after
graduating with a degree in communications
from UNLV. He was a co-founder of Vegas
Golfer Magazine and has been published
nationally by GOLF Magazine plus
appeared on various television and radio
shows, including ESPN2’s First Take. He is the founding
editor of WWW.GOLFLASVEGASNOW.COM and WWW.
MESQUITEGOLFNOW.COM. He also authored The
Las Vegas Country Club: Chronicle of an Icon and is the
president of the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame. He is co-
author of City of Champions: the History of Professional Golf
in Las Vegas with Jack Sheehan.
COLLEEN CHALMERS
is a native of Las Vegas. She received her
bachelor’s degree in elementary education
from UNLV. After teaching, she decided
that she wanted to pursue a career in
photography. In addition to taking pictures
at her every opportunity, she has taken
several courses to cultivate her craft. Her
photography captures the light and laughter in your life, either
with a big smile or a little giggle. Colleen began Giggle Box
Photography in 2010, and has done numerous weddings,
maternity, newborns, children/teens and families as well as

SEEMA SADEKAR
is a professional golfer and fashionista. She
currently plays on the LPGA Symetra Tour,
where she is working towards being the
best player that she can be… and making
sure she sparkles in style while she does it!
For her, golf is a lifestyle; it’s a game that
has allowed to her to expand herpersonal
interests, business relationships and the ability to inspire
those around her. Her dream has always been to play on the
LPGA Tour, and she has always had a passion for growing
the game for young women. She wants young women to learn
golf in a positive and selffulfilling way. Golf is a game and
sport that can bring confidence, self-awareness and healthy
competition to the lives of young women. In her spare time,
she works with girls and young women to help them learn
and understand golf in a fun and fashionable way. WWW.
