ndrew Golish has accomplished a lot in a few short
Ayears. After decades spent in graphic arts and con-
struction, Andrew decided two years ago to turn his pas-
sion for art and penchant for design and building into a fine
furniture company. Taking his first collections on the road,
his first two shows sold out. That gave him the confidence
and financing to fulfill the dream of creating a brick and
            mortar gallery space.

Wanting to relocate from the Midwest to a warmer climate,
he and his fiancé chose Ashland, and more specifically the
4th Street Railroad district, for its artsy vibe, culture, and
            livability.

Armed with the passion and vision of an artist with decades
of experience in the ever-changing graphic arts and latest
computer technology, he is able to design to the utmost
precise dimensions, saving time and materials in the long
run. Andrew creates 3-D renderings, streamlining the
design process while taking much of the guesswork out of
            the final build.

There can be a huge disconnect when a designer isn’t the
maker and the maker isn’t the final user of the product.
Andrew has a design focus approach, with a unique blend
of understanding form and function. Inspired by nature and
life, he is always looking for what’s new and what’s now,
to create gorgeous, contemporary pieces of furniture that
will last through the decades and beyond.

Art is a time capsule, and what he is building will enable
just about anyone to purchase a piece of functional art, so
well-crafted that it can be handed down from generation to
generation and increase in value. All while showing THIS
is the style that is now, creating truly contemporary arts
            and crafts.

Andrew strives for a totally sustainable, zero waste prod-
uct. Normally wood is taken from the forest, shipped to the
mill, then shipped to the kiln to dry, before being shipped
to a seller and then finally the buyer. Some of the carefully
sourced lots of wood Andrew is currently working with
come from one small tract of land where it’s milled on site
