The highlights on the Championship Course are plentiful. But we’ll
highlight the 12th, 13th and 14th holes. These are three of the best
holes players will take on anywhere. All three provide a stiff challenge
(complete with daunting forced carries) and beautiful surroundings.
Fairways and greens here are located along cliffs that in some instances
drop 100 feet. These are just three of the 18 intriguing holes that make
up the championship course. The Links course has a definite Scottish
type feel to it and adds another touch of flavor to the resort.
Then we move on to the discover part of the resort. Sand Hollow
Resort is located just a driver and wedge from Sand Hollow Reservoir,
a huge outdoor water facility. Close by are Zion National Park, Snow
Canyon State Park and the Grand Canyon. Also nearby are sites that
are ideal for water sports, snow sports, adventure sports, biking, hiking
and any number of other outdoor activities that have made the area a
must-see destination.
“There’s a wide variety of options that appeal to guests,” Jesperson
says. “People can spend all day on the lake, play golf or explore the
parks and then come back and spend the evening relaxing and have a
nice meal, as all of the accommodations come complete with kitchens.”

“We get people out here who haven’t seen the stars since they were
kids,” Jesperson says. “There’s just something calming about that. It’s
