favorites arrived at the table. Desserts must
have been another memorable experience.
Valastro, who is known to many as the star of
TLC’s Cake Boss and is a fourth generation
baker, was inspired by his parents, who created
recipes that have been around for years. Buddy
opened Buddy V’s Ristorante at the Venetian
Grand Canal Shoppes some time ago, and is
in partnership with well-known local restaura-
teurs, Elizabeth Blau and Kim Canteenwalla.
They have captured the attention of visitors
and locals who appreciate the classics and the
affordable prices.
The ambiance is casual with the homey feel to its
interior. There’s plenty of room for large parties,
as tables can be pressed together. Booths are
available for those who prefer a more enclosed
experience. There is also a large patio area with
pleasurable views of the Strip and tables that
sit in the hallway where everyone can people
watch. This is definitely a family place, welcom-
ing to folks of all ages.
