Practice of Positivity’s
G.R.I.T Leadership Program

ace it—we all need a little motivation from time to time. No matter
your activity or business, that little extra boost can help you achieve
Fpersonal or professional goals that may only have been imagined.
Where do we look for that little extra help? It’s time to check out Practice of
Positivity’s G.R.I.T. Leadership Program. For owner/president Jeannie Sand-
ers, the program is a no-brainer. She has one goal in mind: bringing out the
best in people. Whether it’s you and your office group or a corporate scenario,
they will come up with a program that will open your eyes to a world you may
not be comfortable with—yet.
What exactly is G.R.I.T? The acronym stands for Go Reinvigorate Intrinsic
Talents and in Sanders’ words, it’s a simple, yet complex, idea. “Everyone is
going through something in their life even if it is a positive change,” said
Sanders who works side-by-side with her husband, Steve Sanders, owner of
Tier One Global Consulting and a retired Navy SEAL with 24 years of active
duty service. “Whether you are facing a job transition, promotion, a rut in
life, or just about anything that’s going on, we provide a unique experience to
encourage and empower people.”
“I was invited to speak to a group of young professional women in Florida
one year,” Jeannie said. “My (future) husband was one of the SEALs there
to take them skydiving. Unplanned, I ended up tandem skydiving with him
that very day.” Their ‘it-only-happens-like-this-in-the-movies’ wedding took
place in California just two years later where Steve changed from his Navy
whites and jumped out of a helicopter into their cocktail hour, leaving guests
stunned.
