Golf Tip | Flop Shot
A successful flop shot is all about commitment
to your shot. Start by opening your most lofted
degree wedge face so it’s pointing skyward,
and then take your grip very lightly. Address
the ball with your feet spread widely apart,
this will help keep your lower body quiet
during the swing. Ball position must be played
forward in your stance, which is close to your
front foot. Make sure to have a soft, long fluid
outside to inside swing. Keep your clubface
open throughout your entire swing, especially
through impact to where the clubface should
be facing blue sky.
