Repentance from sin
2. True believers become righteous in the sight of God,
Romans 5 v19 ' ... through the obedience of one man
(Jesus) the many will be made righteous.'
3. Being reconciled to God, Roman 5 v1,2 ' ...we have
peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through
whom we have gained access by faith, INTO HIS GRACE
IN WHICH WE NOW STAND.'
4. The ability to receive the Holy Spirit, who works in us to
overcome sin Romans 6 v14, 'For sin shall not be your
master, because you are not under law but under grace.'
5. God's ongoing and ceaseless work, to perfect in men all
His GRACES.
Galatians 5 v22,23 'But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness
and self control.' It is this area of grace that covers prayer,
through which a believer comes to the throne and presence
of God. Hebrews 4 v16 'Let us then approach the throne
of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy
and find grace to help us in our time of need.'
Grace is a gift but it is also a TRUST to keep; and a means of
serving. 1Peter 4 v10 'Each one should use whatever gift
he has received to serve others, faithfully administering
God's grace in its various forms.'
The blessings that come through GRACE are found in the
book of Ephesians.
Acceptance. 1 v6 'To the praise of His glorious grace,
which He has freely given us in the One He loves.'
Forgiveness. 1 v7 'In Him we have redemption through
