$10 million listing under contract in Lincoln Park

An 11,000-square-foot manse on three lots in Lincoln Park is under contract after hitting the
market in January at $10 million. Listing agent Janet Owen of Prudential Rubloff Properties
confirmed there’s an agreement to buy the six-bedroom home on Howe Street but declined
to comment further. The home was built in 2004 and includes a private side yard, theater
room and 50-foot sports court above a four-car attached garage, according to a listing.
Records show a venture led by Joseph Nicholas, founder and chairman of HFR Group LLC
and affiliated companies including Hedge Fund Research Inc., paid $8.5 million for the home
in 2010. Mr. Nicholas did not return messages seeking comment.
