Downs Syndrome was treated as a condition that had to

be treated by locking the afflicted into institutions

where those children were treated in an unkindly and

unnatural way. It is only recently that we have become

aware that they are the epitome of a spiritual being

offering unconditional love. There are other conditions
that also respond so well when we recognise that the

condition allows such expression, but unfortunately we
reject this expression and see it only as a symptom of this

condition that we deem unnatural.
