disconnected relationship. Should those loved ones also lack
spiritual awareness it will be very difficult for the recently
departed to gain any solace from these encounters. In their life
they had led a life where their ego side was separated from
their Spiritual side. This separation was ‘artificially’ induced,
often through the dependencies that were developed through a
deluded and misinformed upbringing, in other words a false
reality. Death separates the ego from the false premise that
human society offers and leaves it unsupported. On dying
separation from reality becomes real.
The first step in reunification therefore, is the reunification of
the body and the Spirit, preferably while still in the physical
world. If this doesn’t happen it is not then the “end of the
world”. (How many of these ancient sayings are very wise
and spiritually appropriate). This saying tells us that though
we might be dead and unfulfilled it is not the end of the world
for the ego and that it still has time for the reconciliation with
its Spirit to occur. Once this happens the ego will cease to
exist, except in the minds and thoughts of those it knew and

friend pass away it is important you think kindly of them and
especially remember their unique and special attributes. This
will greatly assist the ego in surrendering to its positivity and
surrendering to its spiritual nature, the reunification of body
and Spirit. Naturally this should be an easier process when
one is still in the physical world. It should be, but then why
isn’t it? The answer is simply that the world of the human no
longer places the necessary respect and time into realising its
spiritual side. The human is educated to ignore their spiritual
function and therefore does not nurture it adequately. It is
