compiling an answer that they heard the question in a way
they wanted to be able to answer. In these scenarios, there is
no doubt the ego is the master. The advice that will be
proffered will be the advice that satisfies the ego of the
advisor and often contain little reference to the confusion of
the one seeking the advice. It is often found that the seeker is
fragile and unable to resist the advice given. A strong person
who seeks advice will apply discernment before acting upon
the views proffered by another. The strong person will be
coming from a place of calmness whereas the fragile person
will often be coming from panic.
If one is to realise who they truly are they will have an
understanding of the duality of the mind. If they are to ask
themselves which master they are listening to and maintain
this awareness it will change the nature of their exploration of
their future potentials. It will clarify what aspect of their
received advice to accept and follow. One may listen to many
sources of guidance but must always follow the picture that is
of their application of the diversity of opinions they have been
exposed to. In the end they have to take responsibility for their
actions.
In the light of this information watch your own way of living.
How much of your life has been determined by you acting on
the advice of others, be they your ancestors, your nurturers,
your educators or your friends or a combination of all of
these? Your past, when the ego is applied, will contain much
focus on “bad” decisions and self-deprecation. When
spirituality is in place there will be humour around your
“mistakes” and acute discernment gleaned from all past
