might provide. It would be similar with asking someone to

make a sentence without providing them with a full alphabet or
vocabulary to work with. There is another difficulty also. The
awareness of the reader can only reach a certain level of

consciousness. If a communicating spirit has to come to that
level of consciousness then they are restricted in the quality of

message they can pass on to the reader. If you were to climb a
mountain you get a view that is wider and further tan when you
were at the foot of the mountain. If we are to ask the spirit to

come to our level of consciousness then we can see how
diminished their view of life would be. Using tools to read is

not the best way of communicating because of this and also
because it often draws those in the spirit world who have not
evolved sufficiently to shed their ego. This then could be a

difficult area for the inexperienced reader to work from. I have
found that those who sought to use tools find that they become
dependant on them and cannot make further progress.

Trance mediumship is also another interesting area. In
this practice the medium allows themselves to go into a trance
state permitting the spirit to take over control of the body. The

spirit will use the mediums voice box to speak and can move
the limbs etc. It is interesting but not necessarily wholesome. In

many cases the medium has to be entranced to prevent them
