Spirit – Releasing the Light Within
Love.
How many of us use this word, love? How many of us
fully understand the true meaning of the word? How many of
us recognise the true feeling of love? Please don’t rush to
answer these questions, as it will only be your ego that rushes
to reply. Your Spirit alone knows the answers, and your Spirit
will tell you the answer to all these questions is, “very few”.
The sad fact is, since so few know the answer many
never really fully experience love. Love is the essence of God.
Love is the very core of your spiritual being. Love is an energy
that flows through your Divine channels. Love is
unconditional. If you are not in a state of spiritual awareness
you cannot experience love, you cannot express love. In the
preceding chapters we said how being spiritually aware does
not mean you are spiritual, similarly being aware of love does
not mean you are loving nor that you are lovable.
Again let us look to our animal pets. See how they can
show us what love truly is. They love us unconditionally. The
human animal finds this almost impossible to offer this love.
There are no different kinds of love, only one kind, true love.
Interestingly your Spirit can only express love. When one tries
to love through their ego, the ego has a tendency to sequester
