On the subject of romantic relationship, it is usually

assumed that it is because one loves another. We must refer to
the previous chapter and point out that we know very little of
True Love. Earlier in this chapter we posed the question,

“.........have you ever thought or questioned your relationship
with God? If not, how then can you begin to view your

relationship with your Spirit?” Now we pose the same question
regarding your relationship with a partner. There is a tendency
to base your relationship on the supposition that there is love

involved. That maybe the case but that is not the basis for how
you would relate, since true love is unconditional and how you

relate carries conditions. One can love all the components in
this world but not necessarily have a close intimate relationship
with them. We have said earlier that love is a Divine force and

unconditional. One must avoid using this love as a means to a
particular end. There are many more factors that need
consideration before one can realise the nature of their

relationship with anything or anyone. Listen to your language
and in particular how you use the word love. Ask yourself are
you being honest in how you are applying the use of that word?

When you seek a relationship check and see what type of a
relationship are you seeking, and leave the word love out of

your deliberations. You might also leave aside the ideas that
