Developing Awareness 1.
There are many levels of awareness. There is the
awareness we have through our five senses, the awareness of
what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. These are the ones we
are most in touch with, that we are aware off. We also have the
sense of motion, heat, cold, pressure, pain, and balance. Within
each of these senses we have a greater spectrum of awareness
than we realise. We often hear of the sixth sense. There is no
sixth sense merely an extension of the senses we already have.
An example of what I mean is when we buy a system to play
music on we go for the equipment with the greatest frequency
response. This means that the equipment has a range of sound
that far exceeds the audible range. What we hear reproduced by
this equipment is a more complete sound even though most of
it is outside the range that we can hear. The inaudible sounds
are colouring the sound we hear so indirectly our sensitivity it
greater than we are consciously aware off. We will talk more
on this later.
In the first diagram we can see how naturally we
develop as a child growing up. We see how the chakras open
and close naturally. A chakra can be seen as the etheric
‘doorway’ between the physical and the Spirit. When we are
