Belief and Truth.
It is often said that there is no surprise without rational
explanation. The surprise expressed by those who find that the
beliefs they have held as true and yet were not true can also be
rationally explained. The degree of surprise is directly
proportional to the degree that the believer held belief as being
the truth and multiplied by the degree the believer was expressing
blind faith in that belief. We are surprised they are surprised as it
is more rational that truth is discovered as it is there. Belief is a
state and truth is a fact.
This latter is but one of many questions we see being
raised around these writings. It is a great disappointment for
many people to realise their insignificance in the world. Many
have spoken of humankind being a greater species than animal
and yet the human is an animal. Many have said that of all animals
mankind is superior but ask yourself how many wars have any
other animal started. Look how humankind fight for supremacy
and destroy so much goodness. Look how the cat sleeps peacefully
by the fire, how faithful a dog is as a companion. Listen to how
sweetly the birds sing, how prettily the butterfly looks, how useful
the cow is, how powerful the horse is, how necessary the spider is.
We could go on. Now look at humankind. Ask yourself how you
compare to the other animals that share your planet with you. Are
you worthy as a human being to stand on an equal platform with
any of those we have spoken of? We see you differently. You
