Needs and Wants (1).

One cannot always be or feel that which they want to be.
Achievement can only be gained after first studying ones role in
this life. We can all entertain all sorts of desires, all sorts of wants,
but these are of no merit without understanding ones real needs.

The separation of our needs from our wants is the first
role we need to study. We have often spoken of this subject, and
again we must look at it again, in fact we must regularly question
our motives in this regard. People often come seeking
development because they want to be like some of the better-
known mediums. The question is why? Is this just ego? Generally
it is. To these people it must be said that the path they thread is
one to disillusion and destruction; destruction to others by
misguidance; destruction to themselves by drawing away from
their purpose, and very often damaging their body, and again
damaging their mind. Those who seek to develop their psychic
abilities generally want only the results and care neither the
            source nor the cost.

The path to God is not along one motivated by ego; the
path to God is not along the one motivated by selfish desire; the
path to God is not along the one motivated by fear; and the path to
God is not along one motivated by insecurity. No my friend the
path to God is along one motivated by needs, the need to get to
