Orthodox Religions.

Friends it is imperative that an understanding is reached
on Spirits view on orthodox religions. The first point that must be
acknowledged is that there is no such thing as orthodox religion in
this (the Spirit) world. There are those, who, when they first
arrive here think that they have to behave in a manner religious,
but it is not long before they realise that all that type of thinking is
for the world they have just left. No, we do not have the burden of
conformity, like everything here in Spirit there is a clarity that can
only come from the freedom that is all prevalent.

We do not have to conform to the man-made laws of God
consciousness, what is here is a clearer view of God. To have God
consciousness one has first to have an understanding of God. To
accept some of the orthodox teachings on God it would make it
impossible to have any God consciousness. God has been
presented for so long as a God to fear, and to increase that fear
churches have set themselves up as the body of representatives of
this terrifying god and used this terror to gain power over
humankind. The founders of these religions added, as they saw
necessary, other facets that they could see would enhance this
image of the terrifying ogre. This activity has not yet ceased
though it is certainly diminishing and the power slowly leaves the
hands of the power seeker.
