and until these catch up on the path we cannot progress any
faster.
We have begun to talk on the subject of prayer so now let
us continue, mankind has very fixed ideas on how to pray. It is not
sufficient to recite verbatim some ritualistic conglomeration of
words and expect results that in no way reflect in the words
uttered. Many of the regular prayers said, or recited, tell God of
the beliefs of humankind, or how much humankind knows of God
or again how great God is. In reality what use do you feel these
words to be, particularly if you recognise God as being all
knowing. Let's consider the purpose of your prayer. If it is a
dedication of your life to God so that you may be guided back to
Him or a dedication of yourself to the works of God, then why not
understand what it is you wish to say, and say it instead of trying
to dress your prayer in frills in an attempt to make it seem more
"holy". No, nothing can be truer than the truth, say what you
mean.
The reason we like to write in this way is that the truth
can be maintained and therefore the full power of the word can be
felt. You will notice how these words no matter how often they are
read impart a deeper meaning and increased understanding, such
is the power of the word. So remember when giving of yourself in
prayer that the words you use must be meaningful and for a
purpose, and in all sincerity, for then and only then can they be
