subservient position in order to procure the one in the window. You
are offered a ridiculous price for the one you have – simply because it
is not as new and shiny as the one you wish to purchase and of course
it is not this years model. You are not told that it is less reliable than
the original and that the guarantee is not as effective as the one
originally given. You borrow beyond your means. (Any borrowing is
beyond your means – the means available to you couldn’t afford it and
that is why you needed to borrow). The new object fails to live up to
its super dooper image and now you have two things you didn’t need
and no means (to get out of your difficulty).

What about the fellow traveller who suggests that their way is
the best and only way for you to go? Only one person can stand in the
same place at the same time. Do you go before them? Do you go
behind them? Do you go beside them? If you go before them are you
the guinea pig? If you go behind them are you being led? If you walk
beside them you will find that you need to keep in step and they are
setting the pace. You will notice that Spirit never leads, never pushes
but guides you through the development of the sensitivity that your
natural chosen being possesses.

Never surrender yourself to God. You might find this a
strange suggestion. To surrender yourself to God you are in effect
handing over the responsibility that you came unto this earth to use as
a tool to your evolvement. If God were to accept your offer God
would be inhibiting your development. This situation lacks any
benefit to God or mankind. Remember that all you need you have.
What you seek is the understanding of the immense power that you
have. You see God as being all powerful. You are a part of God and
therefore in that part share this all powerfulness. This is why evolution
