your “outlook” on life is entirely personal. We could go on with these
examples. It may be a good exercise for you to discover is how
different you are to everybody you know. The differences are
illustrations of your uniqueness.
These differences are also indicators to your self worth. We
hear expressions such as two heads are better than one. Did you ever
stop to consider why? Perhaps it is that the second head adds its own
unique experience to the collective, an added dimension. Have you
ever looked at the world around you with one eye? It appears quite
different than with two eyes. Try looking at the world with one eye
and then the other and you will see that the two views are so different.
The artist who shares their vision with us shows us a way of looking
at things that we were unaware of. The pleasure of this artists sharing
is a measure of their worth in the art world.
When you begin to see your uniqueness you begin to see the
value that you have to share with the world. After your meditation
when you share your journey with your fellow travellers you will
often trigger an understanding of their own personal journey for them
because you have added your view, your dimension to the overall
picture. You have added your uniqueness. To-night instead of perhaps
being impatient as a fellow sitter laboriously goes through their
experience, add this experience to yours for the above reason. You are
then recognising their worth in the group.
If we can be conscious of our worth and the worth of those
around us we can lead a much fuller life. If we can concentrate on
discovering our own unique worth we can then begin to apply this to
our living. The nice thing about our worth is that we are born with it.
