nature then these influences and inspirations will still occur
but will act in our ego. Depending on our ego state, we will
then use these benefits positively or negatively. As we already
stated, each cycle exerts an influence on each and every other
cycle in some appropriate way, but then these influences are
not always used appropriately and can have very upsetting
effects when channelled through the ego. It is the same when
inspiration is also channelled through the ego or soul
consciousness, for then it can be exposed to positive or
negative expression and thus have positive or negative effects.
This type of channel is often called psychic and when directed
towards the ego of another can, and often is, detrimental to the
receptor, often in the form of worry and stress. When
channelled through spiritual awareness no such problems
occur. Spirit can only ever be positive and the receptors
benefit from it, often in the form of reassurance and relief.

The purpose of a life on earth has nothing to do with the
gratification of the ego, rather it has everything to do with the
“gratification” of the Spirit that chooses to take that particular
path. The reason for the parentheses around the second
gratification is that it is not a word that can be applied to a
Spirit but will do in this instance. There is no word in the
English language that can adequately describe the affect an
earth life can have on the evolvement of a Spirit. Not every
Spirit will choose an Earth life but only because it is not
relevant to its function within God.

For those Spirits that do choose it can be a very difficult path
