responsibility and confidence, and being able to make
decisions in their future.
When the child reaches a certain age they should be
introduced to these principles. The developing child should be
cared for spiritually especially during its early years. The
apparently helpless child is born with limited communication
abilities, but only should we apply our limited communication
abilities. The Spirit in child, when newly arrived into this
world of ours, the physical limited world, has just come from
the timelessness and limitless world of Spirit and encounters
the wall created by our unawareness of limitless
communication. We are in the material world, unaware of
Spirit, and governed by the boundaries of the five human
senses. If we are aware then we have realised that each of
these senses also has a spiritual dimension to them, commonly
referred to as a "sixth sense" though there are still only the
human five. It is when the human boundaries are removed that
we get the opportunity to communicate fully, to communicate
spiritually. An example of this is how, through love, we can
engage in tasks that would "normally" be repugnant to one or
other of our senses, and how through love we can get greater
enjoyment in our interactions with others and other situations.
So too with the child, they come into this world with all
senses fully open but especially the spiritual aspect of each
sense. They observe every occasion with complete innocence
and openness. We are so responsible as adults to ensure that
what we demonstrate to them is pure and honest so they see a
positive response to their cause. This positive response can be
