love, it's Spirit is love. The child's unconditional love is one of
its major attractions, and can even be one of the major
challenges it presents to the corrupted physical world, a
beautiful world corrupted by an ego based and dominated
society. The present world is a world that has been created by
the human ego, for its ego gratification, where a successful
life is measured by the material wealth accumulated.
Spiritually this world is bankrupt. Ask yourself this question,
which gives you more joy, seeing the first flowers of Spring
or looking at your bank statement. Your bank statement can
only, at best, give you reassurance but never joy.

This then is the world that the newly born enters into. You
might wonder why, if it has choice, would it choose such an
environment to be in. It is a very hostile world, though there
are exceptions. These exceptions are also there on purpose.
These are the shining lights of good examples that contrast
with the darkness that humankind has created. You will also
see how those who uphold a dark social system will seek to
demean and denigrate those who uphold the Light. We have
said before that Spirit is benign whereas ego constantly
pushes itself forward. Darkness will continuously seek to
overshadow Light, darkness fails to see that the natural
situation is Light and while there is Light there can be no
darkness. There are instances where the flame appears to have
been extinguished, but rest assured while there is life at least
an ember exists. This ember is only waiting for the right
breeze to help it burst into flame. No matter how far one is
removed from God awareness there is always the spark
