STEP 2 - Write Your Story
The purpose of this document is to communicate what the new corporate software will do. There has been no attempt to determine how any of this will be done. Those decisions are to be made by the development team during the process of creating the new software. But we do have a clear vision of exactly what we want the software to provide in the way of new functionality, tools and information.
As you know, we have been using the HAZBEN software for several years. It has served us well, but many things are possible now that were not possible just a few years ago. We will be taking advantage of these new possibilities for the benefit of our customers, employees, agents and shareholders. We see tremendous potential for improved customer service, expanded markets, innovative products and higher profits.
In the past, we have been limited in many ways by the lack of information at the point of contact with our customer. Our customer service representatives have some policy and customer information available on- line, but it is limited and only current as of close of business the previous day.
