the customer’s request. Consequently, the customer usually must fill out a form and mail it to the home office in order to “get in line” to have the transaction processed in our nightly batch processing. Likewise, our agents normally must maintain their own information regarding customers since they have no access to our home office information, other than printed reports we send periodically.
Another severe limitation we have endured in the past is time to market for our most innovative products. We were able to perform all the required tasks for product creation in only a few weeks but frequently the time required to support these products in our software took several years. The ensuing implementation became not only an inordinate time delay but also a large consideration in calculating product profitability.
These customer service and market limitations have been a drag on our success in the past. But this is about to end. These limitations will go away with our new software. In addition, expanded opportunities will be delivered.
