STEP 4 – Test & Launch
The actual process of training will depend, to a great extent, on your actual business. Your business is unique, and your model-office team should make all final decisions regarding how the training will proceed. They could set up classrooms, do individual one-on- one training, or use the model-office area for simulated on the job training. The model-office team is in the best position to know what is right for your business and situation.
The right approach to training for one business may not work for another. Many have their own training departments in place whose responsibility it is to handle training for new software. If that is the case, then the model office team could be used to “train the trainers”. They can pass their accumulated knowledge and skills on to the training department. The training department can then provide the requisite training for departmental employees. There will still be a tremendous advantage in having a resident expert on the new software in each operational area from the model office team.
