3. OUTCOMES
Research outputs are published in refereed journals, research outputs are utilized, patented, copyrighted
and commercialized.
The University is tasked to engage in research to seek new technologies, generate relevant knowledge, and promote
sustainable development. Thus, the University’s research outputs will be used to improve and support community life
through extension services; to help the rural poor to become productive and independent and active participants in
regional and national development.
In 2019, there were a total of 15 publications, 5 in 2018, and 3 in 2017. These are research articles published in
internationally refereed journals and CHED recognized journals. A total of 74 papers were published, 128 researches
were presented in local, regional, national and international conferences.
In the year 2017-2019, it is noted that there are 33 approved Intellectual Property Rights composed of Invention,
Utility Model and Industrial Design. It is noted that 12 out of the 33 approved IPR are developed within the last three
years.
