Animals seem mostly able to keep their mating world separate from other activities, concentrating it in the “heat” portion of their yearly cycles. The big brain of humanity makes this impossible because associations are always being drawn with every thought, and especially every feeling, and, the fact that we are mate- able 24/7/365. As previously noted, the frontal lobe evolved by moonlight. Sexuality is intertwined with every human endeavor. Given that fact, the following aspects of the human condition add complication to understanding what one sees when peering through the silky veils of the above fundamentalisms.
At first glance the combinations of these aspects seem too complicated and mixed up to be helpful. But once listed you can compensate for each one and so gain some control.
