I say to hell with that. Maybe there are internal chemicals preventing the analyzing of romantic
love, but humanity should overcome them. Again! I maintain, the love impulse is so strong that it will easily survive analysis, or it may emerge even stronger once better understood.
However, again, if you in a happily monogamous relationship that has lasted all of your romantic life, I’d recommend that you not read any further. You’ve achieved sufficient happiness and have no reason to question it. Just enjoy the transcendence that your wise choices, luck, and/or biology have achieved for you. This essay will probably just anger you in the least consequence, or cause you to question your bliss in the worst consequence, neither of which will be useful to you or me.
