PARAMETER A – CAMPUS
1. SYSTEM-INPUTS AND PROCESSES

The campus has Site Development Plan. It has accessible good roads and pathways. Has a
well-planned , clean and properly landscaped environment and has a system to ensure that the following
are provided;
 traffic safety in and outside the campus;
There is a memorandum on an implementation and strict enforcement of ISU Gate pass.
There are parking areas provided for vehicles. There are entrance and exit points in the
buildings of the institution. Other signages were also provided to keep the occupants
reminded.

 waste management program;
There are memoranda of the institution on waste management program like “Prohibition;
The Use of Plastic, Styro Foam and other Non-degradable” and “Schedule of Hauling
Waste Materials”. Garbage containers are available around institution. Waste
segregation was properly maintained.

 proper utilization, repair and upkeep of school facilities and equipment;
Construction of the new multipurpose building of the University is ongoing. There is a
regular inventory of the infrastructure and equipment for repair and improvements.
Buildings and equipment were properly used according to its purpose.

 cleanliness and orderliness of the school campus
Students and faculty maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of school campus. Admin
aides also help by cleaning the rooms a and surroundings of the institution.

 There is an area for outdoor educational activities, e.g. social, physical, athletic,
cultural, military training, etc. exists.
The campus has an existing area for outdoor activities like the sports oval, amphitheater
with basketball court, outdoor ball areas and the new open gym for other outdoor
activities.

 There is a campus security unit that ensures safety of the academic community.
Security personnel were deployed to every colleges to secure safety of other personnel
and the students. There are security officers also at the main gate to check for the
entrance of non-personnel, visitors and others. Closed-circuit television (CCTV) were
also installed for surveillance security purposes.
