WAKE UP AND DO YOUR THING
are to the other person. I included people, projects, purpose and passion. My people: those who have trouble connecting and communicating face-to-face. Their problem: connecting and communicating face-to-face. My projects: I write books and give speeches. My purpose: I make complicated concepts sound simple and interesting. My passion: I care deeply about human potential. Their benefit: they can meet more people and find fresh opportunities. This works like magic. It has three parts, a hook, a how and a point and it looks like this. It arouses curiosity, feedback, empathy and imagination.
Presenting this much information in so few words and in a way an eight-year-old can understand it is how you give your project “legs.” When an idea has legs it means it’s memorable and easy to spread by word of mouth to the people you surround yourself with, or those you meet along the way. Ideas with legs are packaged (with words) to attract lucky breaks and unexpected opportunities.
