GENERAL PROVISIONS

17.06 APPLICATION.
Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the following regulations shall apply to all
districts.

17.07 BUILDINGS AND USES.
(1) No provision of this chapter shall be construed to bar an action to abate the use or

occupancy of any land, buildings or other structures as a nuisance under the laws
of the State or ordinances of the Village.
(2) No provision of this chapter shall be construed to prohibit the customary and
necessary construction, reconstruction or maintenance of overground or
underground public utility neighborhood service lines and mechanical
