RESOLUTION BY THE PUBLIC WORKS / CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
AND STORM / WASTEWATER COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF

A CONSULTANT FOR A SPACE FEASIBILITY STUDY AT VILLAGE HALL
AND THE STURTEVANT POLICE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the 2018 Budget was approved per Resolution 2017-69; and

WHEREAS, the 2018 Budget allocated funds for various building updates
at Village Hall and the Sturtevant Police Department; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that it is in the best
interests of the Village to hire a Consultant to complete a space feasibility study
of Village Hall and the Sturtevant Police Department to determine a vision and
plan to complete the updates.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve:

1. That the hiring of a consultant at a cost not to exceed $10,000,
pursuant to such terms and conditions as the Village
Administrator deems necessary and appropriate, is authorized
and approved.

2. That the funds for said architectural work shall be taken from the
Fund 401, account # 401-57140-810.

3. That the Village President and the Village Clerk are authorized
to execute any contracts, agreements or other documents
necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine County,
Wisconsin, this 16th day of January, 2018.
