As I write this it is pouring rain outside, makes me want to curl up with a good book. Sometimes something simple
and uplifting is a choice or at other times, a nail biter on the edge of the couch plot is attractive. This is a reason to
find your next book at the Retreat Library today! There are so many great books to select from. See what your neigh-
bors enjoy reading by checking out the space and a couple of books.

The month of May celebrates Mother’s Day. Whether a mother/grandmother to two-legged or possibly four-legged
(grandpets), it hopefully signals warmer temperatures and family gatherings. This title caught my eye - “The Best
Grandmother Names Ever” by Cathy Livingstone with a bright pink cover, it lists over 400 grandma names plus in-
cludes other fun and enjoyable topics. Are you Nana, Mimi, Glamma, Memaw, or Gigi?

And to help keep us safe in our growing community, the Roseville Public Library is hosting a Roseville Police presen-
tation. May 16 from 1-3pm in the meeting rooms in front of the Martha Riley Library. Learn how to recognize and
avoid fraud, scams, elder abuse and other crimes that target active adults. It is free with an opportunity to bring your
questions to RPD.
