The Retreat Facility Hours
Last month, one member taking part in Open Forum mentioned Mello-Roos in conjunction with Monday - Friday
preserving our property values. I thought it might be a good topic to explore because while we all pay a 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Mello-Roos tax via our property tax bills here in Placer County, it’s notable that this tax revenue isn’t Saturday & Sunday
applied directly to our development, but to the public amenities surrounding our subdivision. 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Mello-Roos has been around since 1982. It was passed by the California Legislature to give local
governments a “financing tool” after the passage of Proposition 13. While Prop 13 tax limits are on the FirstService Residential
value of our real property, Mello-Roos taxes are equally applied to all properties with the district. In other Customer Care Center
words, the smallest lot and home within the Club pays the same Mello-Roos as the largest lot and home. (800) 428-5588
