Governing Documents Ad Hoc Committee

As home owners or tenants in THE CLUB at WESTPARK, we have all agreed to be governed by the
Articles of Incorporation, the By-Laws, the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) which
have been filed with Placer County. We are also governed by the rules that the Architectural Rules
Committee (ARC) has developed. Since its incorporation in 2005, the By-laws, and CC&Rs have been
revised several times.

Last year the Board approved the charter for the Governing Documents and Rules Ad Hoc Committee.

We are charged to:
1) Develop a plan to review all Association Governing Documents and Rules;
2) Identify all conflicting requirements between published Governing Documents and Rules and revise them as necessary to resolve
conflicts and comply with State and Local regulations/requirements; and
3) Develop effective indexing and subject search tools for resident use on the Association Webpage.

We are currently working on reviewing all of these documents looking for conflicts. The HOA has also developed a document Polices, Rules and
Guidelines (PRGs). The PRGs were developed to make it easier for home owners to find answers to their questions concerning the By-Laws,
CC&Rs and the ARC rules. If there are any conflicts, the Articles of Incorporation, the By-Laws and the CC&Rs take precedent.
