Adventure Awaits! Discover fresh reads in our community Retreat Library. This goes without saying, the Retreat Library is a
gem to have in our community. We hope you will take advantage of checking out titles that are entertaining or inspirational.
Some things take time to catch on. The movie - The Killers of the Flower Moon was nominated for an Academy Award this year but the book
was published in 2017. This twisting, haunting true-life murder mystery is about one of the most monstrous crimes in American history. If not
in The Retreat Library collection, check the public library.

Other titles making appearances on the “books to watch” list and coming this summer include:
Lisa Wingate’s - Shelterwood - This emotional and enveloping novel traces the story of children abandoned by the law and the battle to see jus-
tice done.
Gina Maria Balibrera – The Volcano Daughters – An original debut novel about two sisters raised in the shadow of El Salvador’s brutal dicta-
tor, El Gran Pendejo.

Check out free programs at the public library. Roseville Reads is a “one book” community project at the Roseville Public Library offered by the
Friends of the Roseville Public Library.
Active Adult Safety presentations by RPD will share current trends for recognizing fraud, scams, and other crimes that target active adults.
