Next Open Session Board Meeting
It’s hard to believe this year is almost over. We are rolling fast into the Wednesday, November 29th at 3:00pm
last two months of the year.
October is the great ol’ “budget season”, as we managers like to call it. This budget season, you had a great team of member
volunteers working hard on both fine tuning not only your budget but also your reserve study. Everyone’s combined efforts
resulted in a minimal increase of $20 per household but also a thoughtfully proposed well balanced budget. Shout out to everyone on the
budget working process and Finance Committee. The 2024 annual budget disclosure will be mailed to the membership with a postmark no
later than December 1, 2023. The disclosure not only includes the 2024 budget, it also includes the Homeowner section of the reserve study.
This is included every year.
The pool season has come to an end and went out with a bang with the Time Bandits poolside back in September. What a great evening! The
pool heater is finally off for the season but what a great pool season it was. Water Volleyball seemed to be cranking out more and more people
as the summer went on. Members were fighting for spots in water aerobics! Kids, grandchildren, and friends all lived their best lives during
the 2-4pm open swim hours. That beloved pool got some serious love this summer.
I mentioned this in the maintenance reports but wanted to follow up again here for those who may not read the reports. While we love to take
our extended family of 4 legged friends on walks throughout the neighborhood, please be mindful of your neighbor’s properties. While your
pet may need to “go” during your walk, urine tends to stain and kill grasses and many members in the neighborhood take care of their lawns
above and beyond the regular association provided maintenance. Whenever possible, please refrain from allowing your pet to use the facilities
on neighboring lawns.
BellaVista Landscape is gearing up for their second Community Chat. It will take place November 13 at 5pm. More details to come soon. We
will again offer the event via Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person. We look forward to seeing you there!
