government is disorienting, and all the confusion
causes more fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of leaving
the house, fear of going back to work.
Here is a brief timeline of the coronavirus
“pandemic” to show just how much things can change
from one day to the next. Different leaders and experts
are saying different things and giving misleading
information, which is causing Americans to suffer.

An expert in disease research said don’t shut down
the world for a virus.
“I don’t think the answer is shutting down the world
to stop this virus. It’s already out,” said Michael
Osterholm, director of the University of Minnesota’s
Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy.
Later in the article, Mr. Osterholm said: “trying to
stop influenza-like transmission is like trying to stop
the wind. It’s virtually impossible . . .”

Epidemic experts predicted that up to 1.7 million US
residents could die.
The New York Times reported that officials from the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and
epidemic experts from around the world had gathered
