P4 created COVID-19 time capsules
to record this unusual time in their
lives. Francesca Allan hid her time
capsule inside her garden wall before
it was repaired.

Wonderland

battle no fairy tale

With Wonderland in peril, P1 pupils
continued their quest to save the magical
world. Pupils received weekly ‘dmails’
from Wizard Wangle explaining how they
could save fairy tale characters. News
reached us via Wizard Wangle’s dragon,
who we could not see, but pupils used
their imaginations and creativity to create Phoebe McWhirter-Scott (P1)
Wonderland dragons.
While we were reading The Three Little
Pigs, Mr Weir-Addie sent some superb
videos about building a shelter so that we
could help the pigs. We tested designs
made of straw, sticks and bricks, and the
children then huffed and puffed – and
most of them blew down! We decided to
build our own bigger and better shelters
to show the pigs how it is done.
