of school. People I looked up to, in P6, was of
course the House Captains. I still remember
myself in the assembly hall, staggered after
hearing the House Captains’ speeches, and
afterwards said to myself, ‘I want to be one of
               them in P7.’
After an amazing P6 year, P7 was an even
more exciting and unforgettable. As soon as I
was announced house captain of Raeburn, I was
delighted. I still recall sitting on the chair doing my
speech to the Junior School via Microsoft Teams
(which was pretty strange), heart pounding,
putting forward my speech to everyone.
Being a House Captain has been a remarkable
experience. It has helped build my confidence a
bit more, become more ambitious and improved
my leadership skills (and of course receive a shiny
badge). Even though Covid-19 restrictions limited
House Captains’ duties, it was still a wonderful
experience, adding the rainbow day points and
others. Being chosen as Raeburn’s House Captain Hannah Law and James Tan
was a privilege and I will certainly never forget the want to encourage everyone else to follow their possible. It is still sad to leave, but I have some
experience. dreams because they might just work out like amazing memories to take with me, such as going
mine did. to York, sports day and house rugby.
Being elected as House Captain was incredible,
